The second hurricane off of the west coast of Mexico to come through in two weeks (this is nearly historic, rare, doesn't happen) has hit and is in the process of steering a whole bunch of moisture / rain / headaches into Arizona.
The last one caused unprecedented flooding and a general mess. It looks like less of it will pump its way into Phoenix (which is where it was a bigger mess than Tucson) and we may get more this time around. We'll know in a couple of days.
In the meantime, we got the start of the outer bands of clouds moving in this afternoon. It made for some interesting cloud photos and a spectacular sunset.
In case you were wondering, Hurricane Odile is pronounced Oh-deal -- as in, oh deal with it.
