Today is the first Friday since late April that we didn't have Payton staying here. But, that didn't mean that there wasn't anything to do.
Anthony went to bed early with a headache. He gave me a task to do for his college class: Print out about 40 pages of some math equation homework thing because he's apprehensive about hooking up his computer to the printer. I don't ask why, it is what it is. Just like a lot of things, printing out this document was not as simple as it might seem on the surface. It turned out that it had a bunch of equations written in three different colors. The color cartridge on our printer at home is basically toast, so I ended up driving to work at 10:00 p.m. and printing it out there so he wouldn't be angry at me in the morning for not getting it done. Crisis averted.
The one thing I got excited about today was one of the photos I shot during the Morning Blend. I've shared the occasional picture on this blog from the show that I thought was better than average. I take pictures on the TV show set every day to post on the show's Facebook page. If one is extra cool, I add it to this blog.
The photo I was excited about today was of the band Deceptively Innocent. They performed on the show and can best be described as a pop punk band, kind of in the same genre as Green Day. During the sound check / rehearsal before the show, they did a jump in their second song that made me think I could get the shot that you'll see below. Sure enough, they did it during the show and I was ready.
Here's the result:
