One of the lamp posts near my apartment was repaired and then didn't stay standing for more than about two days. I came home from work last night and it was already repaired. The folks at Ridgepointe were really on it this time.
I've been documenting the drama of the fallen lamp posts for months. This is part seven!
The repair this time was putting the base in some sort of coffee can like container with cement. It will be interesting to see if it holds.
But, the story isn't over yet. When it got dark last night, the light itself wasn't on. Hopefully they didn't cement the base in without remembering to wire it back up.

| The newly cemented base inside of a coffee or paint can. It's not centered, nor is it painted... but it is standing. Function apparently supercedes aesthetics. |
