The Winterhaven Festival Of Lights in Tucson kicks off this Saturday. If you haven't been, it's awesome. The residents in the Winterhaven neighborhood of Tucson (Country Club Blvd. to the east, Tucson Blvd. to the west, Ft. Lowell Rd. to the south, and Prince Rd. to the north) all decorate their homes with spectacular lighting displays.
This year Winterhaven kicks off this Saturday and runs December 12-26 daily from 5:30-10 p.m. You can walk the neighborhoods any night but you can only drive through on December 15, 17 and 26. On drive through nights you can enter on Ft. Lowell or Prince. Also, on any of the nights you can ride on a hayride or a trolley for a small fee.
The residents of the neighborhood ask that you bring a donation for the Tucson Community Food Bank including canned food or non-perishable food items or a cash donation.
