The 4th Avenue Winter Street Fair is this Friday, Saturday and Sunday on Fourth Avenue between University and 9th Street. 4th is shut down to vehicle traffic and hundreds of tents are set up for arts and crafts vendors. Tons of food (all the fattening things that should be there!), street musicians, live music, and the best people watching ever.
I've been to the street fairs many times and its total fun. Wear comfortable shoes for two reasons: Lots of walking to see everything and you have to park in the neighborhoods surrounding and will probably have to walk a few blocks at least to reach 4th Avenue.
