Blackberry smart phones across the U.S. have been experiencing outage issues today. The technical problems have primarily affected e-mail, text, browser, and Blackberry Messenger (BBM). Some areas of the country seem to have some of these features working and others not.
My Blackberry has had functional text and e-mail. Blackberry Messenger is currently not working and neither are browser functions.
Research In Motion (RIM), manufacturer of the Blackberry and where all data passes through, is apparently working on fixing the issues today.
